Budget is $500-$750 on just a rifle. Preferably something Academy sells due to me getting a lot of academy gift cards for Christmas from family members but if not I have that cash to spend on it and can use the gift cards towards a scope. Looking to go with 300winmag and doing a long range setup with a nice scope. What would y'all get? Y'all sell me on something
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

take a look at the Remington model 700 long range. Will prolly be the best bet id say. You are going to want something with some weight for stability. Ideally id say the sendero sf2. Its what I have in my 300
Only accurate rifles are interesting.

I dont know if academy sells tikka or not, but you would be hard pressed to find a better shooter out of the box that would fit that bill. Will check on that

DPMS 308 AR10. They were $679 on sale the last time I looked.

Savage... I've been very happy with mine, have been shooting the same .270 for 16 years. My dad has a 30/06 in the same model (Savage 110)

Tikka or Savage would be my choice if I were looking right now.I own a Tikka 30-06 and I love everything about it.Savage probably has the best barrels out there straight outta the box.I know that they aren't well liked by some on here but I have a Mossberg 4x4 in 25-06 with a fluted barrel and bolt.My crew at work got it for me for Christmas 3 years ago and that thing is awesome accurate and also has a good feel to it.$.02

What are you considering long range? I wouldn't really call it long range but for deer hunting I consider 400 yards PLENTY long range and would still prolly never take a shot that far on a deer unless I had to. In reality I don't hunt anywhere with a shot that far but I want a long range hunting rifle to add to the collection.
