Shot it the first time last week, actually this years model which is the htx. Let me say this. The most forgiving bow I've ever shot. If I had the money I'd buy it right now.

I bought the htr right after the htx came out so I was able to get a very good deal on it. I liked the price of the htr better and I liked the gridlock riser better as well. Very nice bows, don't see myself getting another one for a long time.

I guess I'm in the minority, but I hate the draw cycle on the no cam.

I went to looked at Nichols today. I'm a fan of solo cam and solid limbs. The z3 list price there was $699

I bought a Z3 a couple of months ago. I really like the bow. Smooth, quiet, and well constructed. I know folks are moving to these fancy Halons, but in my mind, it's hard to beat the tried and true solo cam technology. And for the price, it seems to be one of the best bargains around. I paid $599.

It is very similar to the old Z7, which was pushing $1,000 a couple of years ago.
