Well the wife said we was going shopping yesterday and to keep the peace and to get it out of the way we spent all day Christmas shopping. She asked what I wanted or needed this year. Honestly we are blessed and I don't need anything but she asked and I said a bow would be cool so while we were in bass pro yesterday I found a bear Cruzer ready to hunt package on sale. I love my crossbow but ever since Eli got his Hoyt last year for Christmas it has peaked my interest in compounds and learning more about them so I can teach him. I shot it 10-12 times yesterday in the range in the store and the last group was 2 inches at 15 yards. I kinda surprised myself and the biggest issue for me is teaching my left hand what to do. I'm right handed but left eye dominant. The bow seemed quiet and fast to me but I'm not a bow expert by any means. Plus it will be fun to shoot with Eli in the backyard throughout the year and it will make us both better. I have really never shot a compound bow since I was a teenager so I have a lot of learning to do.
