Shot and missed a doe at thirty yards in a green field last night. Shot low and still can't figure out why I was aiming at the 12 ring( I ain't Shaw). Went this morning and finally at 10:00 a doe blew and came up on my right side from behind me. I shoot left handed so she needed to take two more steps and I would have a shot. Well she turned and walked behind my tree, so I turned and followed her. She walked straight away from me and then turn broadside about 30 yards. My pin was at 25, so I aimed a little high. When I drew back my safety rope was in the way. I tried moving it with my chin while at full draw and accidentally hit my release. She made it about 50 yds. Better lucky than good.
