Wheeler refuge 20 feet up.

Had one run off as I was climbing up. Hopefully he'll be back.

I did hear a sound that would send chills down anyone's spine. Sounds like some big felines fighting. I'm not saying it was, but wow it was loud. Lasted about 5 minutes. Some birds were making noise as it was going on too. I guess it could of been some birds too. Idk

First sit of the year on choccolocco. Sitting close to a pine ridge with sage all over it. They like to bed up here. Gonna give it a go. Good luck

Hunting Bankhead National Forest this morning. I'm set up on a few scrapes with white oaks steadily falling all around. Good luck y'all.

Back in the same area here in IL as yesterday. Ended up seeing 7 rack bucks in here, 2 of them were shooters. If they do what they did yesterday they'll be in trouble! Good luck everybody!

I'm back setup near a couple white oaks that the deer have been hammering. If I doe slips into range this morning, she will be in trouble.

Sitting amongst some white oaks on the edge of a dried up beaver swamp. First time in here this year.

Well I finally got a day off. I'm sitting on a nice powdery dirt plot. I have hardwoods on all sides and a creek behind me that actually still has water so I'm going to see how it goes.

I'm set up on the edge of a cutover this evening. Trails all around me in some thick and nasty stuff. Feels like a good big buck spot

Sitting in a bottom with every kind of acorn you can name around me. Just need the wind to just blow one freaking direction!

Set up in the northwest corner of a 60 acre picked peanut field. Hardwoods and a pond directly behind me, thick bedding to my right, & plenty of peanuts on the ground. This corner has become a big buck hotspot over the last few years. Only my 3rd time hunting it so far.

I ended up staying down at my buddy's camp and watching election results till about 2 in the morning. So, I took a day off. Me and Emmett will be back at it in the morning. I'll spend Friday through Sunday trying to help my nephew get his first deer. Then it's back to work Monday.

had a doe feed about 50 yd from me for an hour and a half. FINALLY came within 30 yards and I shot the bottom of the window in my blind. She ran out to about 80 yds and blew and blew for 20 minutes. At least it was only a doe

Saw 4 does this morning and ended up seeing 9 this afternoon. Three bucks, one was a great looking young 9 pt. Probably a 115" deer but he wasn't much bigger than the does so he got a pass. Long season but I hope he makes it another year or two
