I'm setup on a hardwood ridge in Ohio. Man is it foggy here. It's a cool 44 degrees. Hoping mr big comes by.

Sitting on one of my killing dirt fiields on the edge of overgrown bedding area. There are a lot of tracks coming from the big sunn hemp patch cutting the edge of this field. Good luck everyone.

Set up in my Lone Wolf in the spot I found earlier this week between two white oaks raining acorns. Emmett is at the other end of the bottom in a loc-on I hunted opening morning.

Just saw 3 on the other side of a small creek. Maybe they will be moving some today.

Just had a big nannerhead ease down the edge of the cutover 25 yards to my left. Couldn't get a shot.

Geno, I hunt everyday the first two weeks of November every year. Best part is, Mercedes pays me to do it.

My lease is in Pickens County. I hunt with some buddies at their spots in Greene County some also. I'll be down there hunting this afternoon.

First morning in Kentucky. Was late getting in the stand but I've seen six so far. Just had a big heavy horned seven point chase a doe all around the hill.

The water oaks are POURING acorns when that wind picks up. They're feeding on them pretty heavy here.

They were crushing water oaks this past weekend in Bibb co. We actually moved off white oaks and concentrated on the water oaks. Killed 2 does of water oaks none on white

Wife and I are going to go sit a green (dirt) field for a couple hours. She said she wants to see where I hunt. Not expecting much, but it will be nice not having to haul a climber in.

Me and Eli are on the edge of a field in a ladder stand where we have several does on camera trying to get his first bow kill. We have the wind and a lot of it in our face. I never had much luck in the wind like this.

Ahh feels good to be back in the stand! After a career change this spring, and having our first child in January, I went from hunting 4-5 days a week to maybe 1 day a weekend. Luckily the record high temps and drought have made it easy to stay outta the woods. I'm sitting on the edge of a cutover with some water oak dropping around me. This fresh cutover still has a lot of green in it too so I'm betting it's still a pretty good source of browse for them.

On a white oak flat between bedding and water. Hope for the best. Hard not to sweat walking in weather like this.

I'm set up in the same hardwood bottom, about 100 yards from where I was this morning. Shot at a coyote and missed before I got down this morning. I think I'd rather miss a deer than a coyote. Those things are so alert.

I was later getting here than I liked, but I'm here. I'm on a hardwood ridge, right on top of some white oaks...The wind is very squirrely, but hopefully it'll lay before the deer move

I'm here, saw 1 fawn all evening yesterday. A lil wired I thought, never did see the mama.

I just had a doe come right to me and the jerk saw/heard me draw. She was giving me the ole head-bob crap, trying to figure me out. I had to hold at full draw forever, but she finally turned broadside and I let it fly. It looked very good up/down, but it was a fuzz back. I think it's a very lethal hit, though. I don't think she could've made it far

Wife and I didn't see anything, but I did meet another member of the club and he showed me some cam pics he just got...pretty nice bucks...wonder if it was my camera....lol

My son got his 1st with a bow this evening. Small doe. 80lbs. He bought himself a bow 2 weeks ago after I killed my 2nd one of the year. He couldn't stand it. He missed one on Sunday but put a perfect shot on her quartering away at 26 yds. Proud Dad!

It was not an easy track job, but we found my doe. She is a lot bigger than I thought and I hit her a bit higher than I thought too. She must've filled up with blood instead of losing it along the trail. She went about 250 yards...Photobucket is being stupid! I'll post a picture when Photobucket decides to cooperate

They were moving pretty good in Kentucky today. Ended up seeing 14 and 2 turkeys. Four were bucks.

Nothing for us this afternoon congrats on the kills folks. I can't seem to get Eli on a deer this year.

Believe it or not, we've gotten just enough rain to keep our fields chugging along. Some fields look very good (low bottoms that hold more moisture) and even the higher/drier fields are beginning to look pretty good too.
