Finally got this thing to load on Photobucket. This is the smaller buck that was with the bigger one I killed yesterday.

Haha. Your a lucky man looks like you got some dumb deer to hunt. Or at least ones that don't look in trees. I'm convinced that I must have some uv brighteners on my camo or something cause I think the deer I hunt spend more time looking in the trees than they do on the ground.

Well, I was also thinking I probably shouldn't educate this joker to look up!! He'll be fair game next year, and I want him to stay this dumb!

You can't tell in the video, but he was sort of looking around like "Is that you, Lord??" laugh

Great video. Nothing like sitting in a tree with a bow. Been doing it for over 40 years and it never gets old. Thanks

Nice. I would have shot him, but then it would only be the second deer I'd shot with an arrow. You have a couple of nice ones there on your photo bucket!

Thank you! Most of my biggest deer come in bow season, it's just when I see them. We often have debates on this site about the best time to hunt, and most folks say "the rut", but for me it has always been October. It's incredible how many big mature bucks I see during bow season compared to January. But it might be the land I hunt too...it's really taylor-made for bowhunting.
