I baught some dried ear corn for the critters, its stored in a 25 gal metal trashcan inside of my shed, i opened it earlier and the bowl weavels were everywhere... the can is off of the ground and under a lid.. not sealed but dang.. is corn shipped with baby bowl weavels just waiting to hatch and eat my money

They are weevils but not boll weevils. I've had 'em in shelled corn so bad that I could hear them inside the bag. Nasty critters.

You goober boll weevils were in cotton hence the name. You got potentially grain weevil or several other types.
