I have to tell you..kinda mixed in this one. Some of prettiest country up the on the Standing Rock Reservation.
Its where I got my Mulie a couple years ago.

Theres some interesting things goin on at the reservation. A drilling company wants to run a pipeline slap through the reservation. Based on history, how would you think the natives' end of the deal is gonna come out? It doesn't even go thru the reservation. They are just getting their 15 minutes.

Why should the American Indians give up one more fuckking inch of anything for the rest of the country? They are the most downtrodden people on this continent. Everything their ancestors had was stolen from them. How would you like it if the Army came thru tomorrow and forced you, your wife and kids and your entire community/county to pack up and move to the desert southwest? Or somewhere else that you had no knowledge of how to live off a part of the land that was foreign to you. I side with the Indians.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Nothing was stolen, it was taken. If they wanted to keep the land they should have fought harder. Hell they even had home field advantage. That's the same damn thing. Acquiring something that isn't rightfully yours is the stealing or taking, whichever you prefer. If the feds busted down your door and "took" everything you owned, you would complain? By your logic, they have a right to.
