An older couple who goes to church with me has had a female chocolate lab take up at their house. She has been there for about 4-6 weeks now. Looks to be 6-8 months old and he says she looks to be purebred. They are not able to take care of her and would like someone to come get her and give her a good home. Northwest Tuscaloosa County/Pickens County area. I'll try to get some PICS of her first part of this week. Anyone interested just PM me here. Thanks. _______________________________________________________________ Update: Alright, for those of you who have sent me a PM about this dog, here is what I know... I saw her late this evening for the first time and took a few "not so great" PICS of her because of the darkness. I believe she is closer to being a year old dog than she is a 6-8 month old puppy. She seems a little shy when she first meets you but does warm up to you pretty quickly. She seems to have a very humble type personality. I'd guess she is in the 40-50 lb. range, not real tall and rangy looking. She has a pretty head, tail is not a real thick otter type tail, and she has a small white spot in center of chest and a small amount of white on her toes on rear feet. I have seen white like this on lots of Labs before. She looks like a Lab but I'm not going to tell you she is purebred or isn't. I have no way of knowing. These good people have a little fiest dog already or else they would keep her. She appears to be healthy and playful. That's about all I know about her. My friend has been telling a lot of people about her and he said the first person to commit to taking her gets her. Here are PICS:

I don't have a clue if she is or isn't. She just took up at their home and they have not let her inside the house that I know of. She stays outside with the fiest.

What's her name and is she fixed? The dog took up at on older couples house that I go to church with. They have not named her. I guess a vet could tell if she was "fixed" but they don't know and neither do I.

Does she have papers? What sort of awards are in her pedigree? Sire? Dame? What certifications does she have? What sort of commands is she accustomed too? Do any of her litter mates Have any awards? What sort of health guarantee does she come with?

Welcome to trying to give something away for free on here. It was a bit shocking to me too.

If I needed a dog, I'd take her. That looks like a crossbred dog to me. The kind that will make a good, loyal, healthy dog.

Cuz if said member takes the dog, send me a pm with their name so I can send the collar. I will do that. Thank you for that kind gesture.

Found her on the side of the road years ago. One of the best dogs I've ever had. Sweet, loyal, and friendly. Unless you're a cat or possum then not so friendly.

Aldeer member bama_tacoma picked up the dog this morning. I think she will make his family a fine dog.
