I have my turkey killa up for sale in the classifieds. It is a remington 1187 with rhino choke that will bangflop a gobbler at 50+ yards all day long. I bought a SBE and don't need it anymore. I have killed a BUNCH of gobblers with that gun and just hope the SBE is as good. PM for pictures.

i hope it works out for you. i bought a 870 super magnum and thought it would do the trick. needless to say i got rid of it. it would not shoot any where close to my regular old 870. i shot a turkey at 15 steps and put maybe 5 pellets in him. very disapointed!!

I would venture to say that there are just as many gobblers missed at too CLOSE as there are too FAR!! If you let a gobbler get that close you have to understand how dense the pattern is. Maybe the size of a golfball. After I polished the barrel last spring, I could consistently put 250-280 pellets in a 10" circle at a lasered 40 yards. You put the bead on his waddles anywhere within 60 yards and he'll be riding around in the back of your truck!!

I have to look but know I have a 665 rhino which seems to be the best overall from reading around. I also have a 670 pure gold.

well at 40 steps it would only put about 16 in a turkey target where mt old gun would atleast 25 or 30 in head and neck.
