I've never used it much. But is it really worth paying attention to. I know there is no guarantee method but I have thought about paying more attention to it.

I think it's accurate if you compile it with barometric pressure, temp, wind speed, hunting pressure, etc. by itself, no

I pay a lot of attention to it. Have for years. Still go when I can, but many times things will 'wake up,' and I check the tables (on my phone) and probably 85%+ of time, the activity coincides with what the tables say.

Just remember hunting pressure overides everything else.

You haven't been blocked until you've been flock blocked!!!

I have read the overhead and underfoot are the best. I have always seen more bucks when the full moon comes up a sundown.
None of this matters about my hunting because I go when I get a chance.

I look at it but don't bet the farm on it. I pay more attention to the weather. However when it's a full moon I change my hunting strategy a good bit.

I look it up prior to every hunting trip, along with the NOAA weather graph for temps, wind direction and precipitation % - All good to know and take into account when planning, but nothing to bank on.
All the scientific data in the world does no good at all if you 'educate' them by making a mistake. Hunt the wind and sit still.

QDMA did a study with radio collared wild deer, both bucks and doe, and they found minimal movement patterns between the phases and position. With that being said, i never take vacation when there is a full moon. I like the week leading up to a full moon, over the week after. Deer have to feed every 4 hours, according to articles i've read.

I usually don't go on a full moon. I have never had any success on a full moon even in the middle of the day.

I never pay any attention to it at all. None, nada, zero, zilch. The guys I hunt with pay very close attention to it.

I hunt when I can. If the deer move, they move. If they don't, they don't. Too many variables and unknowns.

Ok, I have absolutely no idea, but on opening day, Oct 15th of this year, when were the deer "supposed" to move. Seems like it was a full moon or very close.

I saw 3 racked bucks within the first hour of good daylight and shot one of them at around 7:40 AM. According to the charts, should I have been hunting then???

I've looked at it several times, and sometimes it seems like it's right. But NEVER have I said, "oh the moon is doing whatever, I'm going or not going hunting". If I have an opportunity to hunt, I'm going.

10/15 and 10/16 were the best days and we saw a lot of deer. Monday and tuesday were not good days and my son didn't see much. Take that for what its worth.

I don't revolve around it but you can bet if it is high pressure and moon is going to be overhead or underfoot between 6-9AM or 3-6 PM, I am probably taking off of work....
