It looks like my Ingersoll Rand air compressor has bit the dirt. Every time I turn it on it throws a breaker in my panel box. It never comes on or tries to run, just kicks the breaker out. I'm guessing the motor is probably shorted out. Anyone got a good, used air compressor they'd like to part ways with? Going to be used to air up tires on farm equipment and occasionally do a little blowing with a hand held pistol grip blower. I don't need a great big unit, just a small stack tank type of compressor 125-150 PSI. Needing a good buy...

Cuz, IR is one of the best brands.
Have you checked the compressor by rotation by hand?
Could be a capacitor in the motor, price of a new 5hp motor compared to what you may get might worth looking into.
