I would actually love it if they put a big green field there as it would keep them from crossing onto my place. My fear, and what I would do if I was them, is keep clear a 30 foot lane along the fence after it grows up and shoot them crossing to the crops from the bedding.Unfortunately my only big ag field is along that line.
It is also gonna be really hard to be an ethical hunter this year early because I bet every deer in 3000 ac will be in there eating all the acorns knocked off the trees when they get cut and I will be able to see a huge chunk of their land from an existing stand.
Looking at their land isn't against the law, but hunting it is!

What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.

Right now it is hard to get rid of hardwood pulpwood, tight quotas and the price has dropped again. I talked to the Browder hardwood log buyer and he says the market is very poor, they don't want the south Alabama hardwood for veneer face wood, it is just peeled and used for filler material and they use northern hardwood logs for the exterior. We talkin northern Alabama hardwood or true north like Wisconsin?
