Ok, based on your personal experience, what percentage of the time would you say a deer will jump string on shots over 25 yds? Do you shoot true or low anticipating the jump? There's no hard and fast rule to it. Deer that get hunted a lot seem to be jumpier to me and on super calm days they seem to react more. But that's just personal experience

Pick a spot about a 1/3 of the way up and let it fly

Unless they do a belly flop. You get a wired old alpha doe and they'll make a fool out of you sometimes.

Yep, that way if they do duck down they still get hit in the lungs. Last year was my first year bow hunting, I missed 3 times and killed 3, of the 3 that I missed only 1 was because it ducked. On one of the misses, I was able to get another shot on him after he went about 20yds and came back to my plot. It wasn't until the end of the season though that I really learned about shooting for the heart after I had an Albino spotted doe duck my shot.

I had an Albino spotted doe duck my shot. That's a piebald, not an albino.

I think a lot has to do with them being spooked. If they don't know you're there then you should be fine.

If you have done your homework.Your bow should be quiet, don't move before the shot, you should be fine.
