Like the names critter glitters, doe patrol. Dont any real shooters that im excited about on camera as of yet but that could all change. The last two years have been good to me hopefully ill have some horns to post on the board. My first year being on a team. Looking foreword to the comrodery.

I'll probably sit on some sawtooth oaks that have been dropping. They are just about gone but I may get a few sits while there are still some acorns on the ground.

I haven't decided yet on what I am doing. I may not be able to go Saturday due to some family engagements however if possible ill be there.

I don't have much to hunt over at the moment but I'll be out there Saturday morning. Seeing fields of dirt is a bit depressing.

Critter Gitters has received a few nods. I'll go ahead and submit that as the team name.

I dont get out much until it cools off some. But looking forward to the cooler weather and gettin out. Had a couple of good bucks on camera this summer so it should be a fun year.

Still working but plan to go the first weekend in November. Hope it cools off a bit too.

Hunting PM Saturday and Sunday. Saw two Saturday and nothing the next day. I won't be shooting does on this property but will be going on two hunts with customers later in the year that should produce a buck and a doe.

I hunted Saturday morning and saw three does and a spike. I would like to shoot a doe but will have to wait another week in the south zone. I plan to go again Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Weather looks nice this weekend.

Same here BW im in the south zone as well. I will usually kill a doe with my bow and a buck with the rifle if I get the chance lol. Im planning on going Friday afternoon if I can get off work and Saturday. Sunday belongs to the wife especially with the little one now

I am in the South Zone as well so no doe for me for another week. I will be in the woods some of this weekend but main concentration is to finish getting fields planted. I leave for Missouri in 2 weeks so hopefully that will produce.

Im gonna try and get out Saturday afternoon with the good lords help.

I skipped the hunt last Sunday afternoon to plant plots ahead of this front since it was calling for 60% chance and we didn't get a drop of rain. It had rained a little last Sunday morning but not sure if the ground had enough moisture to even make the seed germinate. I know most everyone else is in the same boat.
I'm going to try to hunt in the morning, should be a great morning.

We have our plots turned just waiting on rain. Hope it will grow once it does

So since I have never participated in the teams before in order to enter an animal we have to take a pic with the team name and date on paper in the pic is that right

I always do Team Name, User Name, Date, and Write (Doe, 6 point, 8 point) whatever it is.

Im planning on letting the air out of a nanny Saturday afternoon. Have had 4 coming in almost everyday but haven't been able to shoot one due to the no doe harvest

I saw plenty of does and fawns Saturday morning and Sunday afternoon but I'm yet to see a buck. Hopefully the does will be in range again this coming weekend since doe season is in.

Yea, I will be after a nanny this weekend as well. Maybe we can get the team on the board.

We should all be good for a doe. I wonder if skinny will add points for distance. Im looking to get another one at 1k when rifle season comes in.

Killed a doe this morning. Saw a decent buck after first light but he must have caught my wind because locked up and walked back where he came from. I was thankful to have made a good shot and have a short tracking job.

Alright team mate we are on the board. Wouldn't ya know it i had does coming in every morning and afternoon this week according to cameras and didnt see a deer.

Nothing this morning changing locations for the afternoon. Gonna be on a hardwood flat raining white oaks. Only problem is the understory is so think I won't have a lot of shooting room. Good luck to the ones hunting

Trip to Missouri has been hit and miss so far. Weather is a bit warm but slight cool front moving in over night. I had one good shooter about 10 yards out of range. Bucks are cruising a good bit so hopefully will have luck over the next two days.

Good luck reptar. I wont be in the woods this weekend. Taking the wife to savannah. I may try and go to missouri next year on a DIY hunt if everything goes well.

Ended up seeing 8 this morning and nothing this afternoon. Gun in the morning so I didn't shoot. Of course when I take my bow... nothing

Saw a bunch this past weekend. Nothing worth taking. Next trip probably gonna bust one of them does at least.

Same thing on my place, lots of good movement especially Sunday morning. Of course I took my rifle to my bow stand and had 6 does within 15 yards.

That's why I always take my pistol with me. Never know when you make can get a pistol kill

Anybody having any luck? Looks like friday and satuday will be some of the best hunting weather so far this season. I will be out saturday.

Havent had any luck so far. Ill be out there this weekend trying to stick one with my bow. Freezer is getting low so I may have to break out the smoke pole soon.

Saturday afternoon was hunt #13 on the year for me. Seeing plenty of deer but have not seen a good buck yet.

Headed down Friday for a 5 day hunt. Time for something to die.

Well I killed a 125# doe with my bow Saturday afternoon. Went to gather my things for the team stuff we have to have down in order for it to count for the team and my buddy already had her up on the skinning pole cleaning her. Sorry guys.

I have not hunted much the past couple of weeks but things are about to get good in my area. The next 4-5 weeks are always the best hunting so I'm hopeful I'll get a chance at a good buck soon.

Got us a few more points Sunday afternoon.

I have been going regular but not seeing much. All of the shooter bucks I had on camera this summer are dead. So I am just hoping to catch something new cruising through. Good Luck Guys. Still a good bit of season left.

Nice bwhunter. Enjoyed the story. I have gone every weekend just not seeing any buck activity yet. They haven't even laid any scrapes down even with the cold snap. Got a bunch of gay deer I guess

This warm weather is going to be rough this weekend. The next cold snap we get after this should get the deer really moving. I just started seeing scrapes about two weeks ago and we usually don't see much chasing until the 3rd week of January.

Same here. Pictures of the bucks we are getting are all at night and still in bachelor groups

alright man congrats. Unfortunately I missed a nice 8pt Saturday morning, however it was at 1100 yards. Shot just over his back windage was perfect. Sucker was tending a doe and just didn't offer me another shot. If ida had another shot he would be headed to the taxidermist.

Glad to see you guys putting some points up. I hope to add to the total this coming weekend. Just spent 10 straight days at the club with no luck. To daggum hot!
