Just checking back in guys it's not been a good year on our farm in Kentucky I have let a bunch of young bucks walk and haven't seen but a few that where border line shooters I have one more weekend up there so hopefully I can get it done.

I'm going to be back in the saddle tomorrow morning. Hopefully I'll put another one on the ground.

I'm going Sunday but will be sitting with my wife... I don't get much time to hunt on the holidays... and she's wanting to go Sunday so maybe we will have some luck there's been a small 7pt and a nice 8pt hanging around where we are going, so maybe Sunday the day!

That's a great buck! Is that one from Possum Killer or Clark? I had an interesting morning yesterday, I shot a doe and killed both her and the yearling that I thought was clear behind her with my bow!! It was the craziest thing. I can't get my photobucket to work so I posted with my google images account. I hope it works for Yekrut. I got a look at our boss buck a few days ago, he was standing under a persimmon tree as I approached a stand, I was walking in late (around 6:50 am) if I'd been there on time I might have got him. Keep hunting boys!!

Shot at this buck 3 times afew days ago and wasn't sure if I hit him or not and didn't look for him good enough I guess, but he ran off towards the top of the hill like he wasn't hit but I was certain I hit him being on him good 2 of the 3 shots so.. my wife and I rode over to the area mid day today. And watched the buzzards and they lead us right to him! I couldn't believe it, he didn't go 100 yds from where I shot him!

He is a main frame 10 but one of the brows is broken off only leaving about 1/2" sticking up..

I went with my brother where I can shoot something smaller than an absolute monster, so when this guy came in he got a load! I shot a coyote about 15 minutes before he walked in!
(Notice the treestand in the tree behind us) I could've shot him with a bow, but I was wanting to use my rifle!

The Midwest hasn't been good to me this year.

The weather sucked in Kansas until the last day. I saw 6 shooters from lunch on Friday until lunch on Saturday. No shots.

I just got back from Ohio and the weather sucked. Deer moved some but it rained and blew most of the week. I saw a shooter on the last day but no shot.

I'll be hunting here from now until the end of season. Maybe I can get us some points.

I may go back to Ohio in janauary for muzzleloader.

That stinks Big Game Hunter, sorry you've had a tough time. That's a lot of traveling, I bet you saw some beautiful country! I'd love to go to either of those locations! Well I got lucky and got one I had named master splinter! He made a mistake and I capitalized on it! cant wait to see what the rut has in store! This one is a main frame 8 with lots of crazy points around his brows! I'm calling him a 14 point!
