Used a API for 20+ years and never had a problem. Decided I wanted a new stand so I bought a Treewalker. Only been on a tree once but will get a workout starting Oct 15th.

I have the XOP Enforcer. Haven't hunted out of it enough to say it's my favorite but it's the only horse in the stable at present. I wish the top was a couple inches wider.

Lonewolf Sit/Climb. I used a summit cobra for many years and liked it. Late last year, I went to a Lonewolf sit/climb and am happier with it. The cast design is quieter than the hollow runners on the summit. Packs thin, light, and the cables don't need heat shrink replacement, and are easily adjustable. For bowhunting, I want an open-faced stand and the LW allows that feature and still allows me to sit to climb.

cougar claw by far the best I have ever used. Grabs any kind of tree you are in with ease, very easy to climb with, and very comfortable.
In the woods or on the water is where ill be.

I was an API guy till they sold to BPS and the China models suck. Treewalker, 100% American made, check them out. They cost more, but if you life worth more ? They are lite, have heavy weigh rating, they are super comfortable. www.treewalkerstands.comhunt safe wear your harness !!!

I loved my summits until someone stole both of them. Have an XOP enforcer that is light and is now super comfortable since i put a summit replacement seat in it. Its the best tree stand ive used for the rough mountain hunting that i do.
