.308 That stainless laminate is a good looking rifle.

I like the improvements to the recoil lug and new metal bolt shroud. Not really impressed with the stock change.

An "improvement" in the form of a steel recoil lug that is still not part of the action should not impress anyone. Nor should a steel bolt shroud.
Does the gun probably shoot good? Probably does. So does a Ruger American. And a T/C Venture. And others. What does it matter at that point that is supposedly has a Sako (also Beretta) barrel?
Not saying not to get one as it does not matter to me, just not a Tikka Kool Aid drinker. That action will never be included in a list of "best". Ever.

I've never heard of many people that dislike a Tikka. I've never owned one but have heard lots of owners who love them.

Just trying to bring to you a different perspective. It is a nicely finished rifle for a plastic gun and has a smooth action . I have shot several. Nothing about it is really "better" than anything else. It is definitely not better built than many others.
What it has going for it is the fact that it is on par with other Beretta guns. It is nice. Like putting chrome on a bumper. Looks good.

This rifle looks really sweet. I got the predecessor to T3, the M695 and now I got a KKC riflestock for it. It's awesome and the precision is great, but it's heavy. I'm looking at the T3X superlite with flutet barrel and you get about the same weight as Remington 700 Titanium so it will be great for mountain hunts.

I thought I was a lone ranger on the dislike for tikka. they just feel cheap to me. especially the action. they don`t come close to comparing to a sako I own 3 Sako's and no Tikka's but if I wanted a less expensive option I wouldn't hesitate to buy a Tikka.
