German short hair pointer lost at lake Martin on July 2nd. Over $2,000 reward

Dadgum he been gone a while. Probably run over and hauled away.

Is this the same one that has signs from wetumpka to auburn on hwy 14? It breaks my heart every time I drive past one. I have a female gsp that I lost for a week while living in midtown Atlanta. She was picked up and taken to a vet where I was able to recover her cause she had a microchip.

There is about a hundred signs around Lake Martin of that dog. A couple of weeks ago a boat was around old Bama Park and posted a GSP that swam out to their boat and loaded. Turned out to not be Ryder. We have been looking for her ever since the signs showed up. Sounds like the sightings are on the other side of the lake from us.

From my understanding the reward is $2,000 plus her gofundme donations. I'm betting it's well over $3,000

I've been seeing the signs for a while now every day when I go from we tumors to Alex city. I personally think the dog is a goner. I hate to say it but I think so.

I hate to break this to ya'll, but dogs don't get lost. They run away, get stolen, get shot, or get run over. I've had deer and rabbit dogs and they can find their way home from miles and miles away. People like to think they get lost. It makes them feel better.

Interesting tidbit. The signs say the dog is scared of loud noise. What hunting dog is scared of loud noise.

I'm sure they're hoping someone has the dog and doesn't want to give it up. Not a far fetched thought by any means. But, very possible she is dead.

Bull chit dogs can't get lost. They may end up dying but they sure as hell can get lost. Like I said I recovered my lost dog after a week of being gone in downtown Atlanta. And I've got a buddy in auburn that recovered his husky after a month missing in Roanoke, al that ran away from auburn nearly 40 miles away.

In the 70's I had a black and tan female deer dog that we were hunting north of Troy. She disappeared one day, we thought she was stolen, but didn't really know. Three years later she showed up at the house about 12 miles west of Troy.

This family was at the lake on vacation I believe.

I'll betcha that dog is pointing birds for somebody somewhere, or breeding.

The flyers say not to chase or call out, but for 2000 clams, I would dart the thing and chase it with a giant cast net.
