The cabelas brand is just as good if not a bit better. When my traeger crapped out I went the cabelas route.

I think one is on craigslist now

I have the Traeger Daniel Boone model and it works great. Pricey but worth it.

How much do the wood pellets cost and where do you have to buy them? $12-$15 a bag. I get them from my BinL hardware store or the BBQ shop in scottsboro. A bag last a long time when smoking. Much cheaper than charcoal.

Shelton's in moulton has 40lb bags of pellets for $18. Now that's a deal.

yall like the treager more than the green eggs?? I've never cooked on an egg, but I love the convenience of the set it and forget it style of the treager. It never burns out or gets too hot. It's always just right. Turn the switch on and walk off.
