I am looking for a .270 or .308 for my son. Not looking for anything high end but something nice that will put a deer down. Scoped would be nice but not a must. I have a ton of fishing stuff I would be interested in trading/ partial trade. Thanks

Jason

Look around for a Handi-rifle. Available in either caliber, and won't break the bank. My oldest son shoots a Handi Survivor in .308 with a low end Nikon scope on it, plenty accurate, and even as he's gotten older, has a great paying job, etc., he's never felt the need to replace it as his "go to".

Quit laughing...I think I broke something.

Fifteen is my limit on Schnitzen-Gruben, Baby...

I have OCD and ADD, so everything has to be perfect, but only for a minute.

HH, when you have as much as I do and get new stuff for next season it's easy to let it go.

I've got a .308 Remington model 740 semi-automatic. It's the first model of the wood master line before they started trying to make them cheaper. Iron sights on it, and I can take $225 for it.

Hit me with a pm if you're interested.
