Well I've been in working in west central and north Mississippi all week. I can't count how many birds and FU I heard. Mostly from younger folks. You just happen to be on the wrong side in the right state. It is ridiculous though. Glad to be home. Roll Ride BTW.

Sometimes it helps if you will put yourself in their shoes and look at life through their eyes, if you do that then you quickly realize that most,not all, but most bammers only have 1 positive thing in their life, just 1 thing that they can take pride in, just 1 thing that others will not consider an utter failure and that's to be a fan of a school that has a good football team.

I'll admit that I'm glad that Kelly is a senior this year. This team will be the last of the good teams Ol Miss has for a long time. Kelly sure has helped the team be competitive and successful, hard to replace. Shea Patterson is the projected QB next season-lots of potential to be a good quarterback. Good recruiting so far. Playing a bunch of sophomores and several freshmen right now so they will have experience for the next few years. We'll be alright for a little while I'm thinking. We'll never be SEC championship, playoff bound, or national championship contenders until we can run the ball effectively. IF we get hit hard by the NCAA, then in a couple years they will struggle a lot to even have a winning record. I don't get worked up over football, just enjoying being competitive.
