Local feed store isnt selling Buck Oats this year. Instead he has black oats. Anyone ever tried these? Particularly in or around North Clarke county?

WMS Deer Magnet has them in it. Looking forward to seeing how they hold up in hill country if we get some single digit temps.

I'm interested to hear how they do up there. I'm planting them this year, also. If it's a normal year, I'll be able to tell you how they do in a wet bottomland.

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Trying them this year for the first time alongside Buck Forage Oats in Southern Tn. I know that does not help you any now but I have heard good things about them.
