We go eat at Surin and the Pancake house about once a month. Other than occasionally being asked for money by bums, it has been uneventful. No clue about housing or schools.

we used to live there while I was in school, Dreamland and no commute was the best part. I just couldn't live on southside now. there are pockets of bad mixed amongst the pockets of good, at night it can be interesting to say the least...

I ain't moving. I'll commute. The business is about a mile away from St. Vincent's in the 8th avenue South area. There was a pretty nice park on the right side of the road going in and a bunch of joggers. The joggers didn't look too concerned. I live about half a mile from there. The area is perfectly fine. It's closer to Forest Park/Highland Park than Southside. Let me know if you take the job and we can grab a beer one afternoon.

Gotta get breakfast somewhere.

Prior to this week, the last time I was in Southside was at Louie Louie's gettin'n hammered and watching Telluride, live.

I worked on 6th ave north for 5yrs. Still go down there a time or 2 a month. Plenty of fine areas to live 30mins south, north and east. Negotiate hrs where you're getting there before 7am and leaving by 3:30.
