Absolutely. I can't hardly hunt without them, but instead of real silk, I got some stuff from Cabelas called Techno Silk. I can't tell the difference except the man made stuff is machine washable and real silk isn't.
Like I said, the stuff I have was made by Cabelas, but I'm sure plenty of companies make it now. It is well worth it over old style long johns. In fact the stuff is thin enough that when it is really cold, I wear them and a pair of thicker long handles.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I love silk everything! I even wear silk panties on opening day of bow season! You can't wear too much silk! Remember to put your Costas on the back of your neck when you're indoors! Wear Sperry flip flops as often as you can!

I use the same as Jawbone. they call it silk but its actually nylon. Sweat passes thru it and keeps you dry. cabelas has great hunting cloths.

Definitely worth the money. When its cold enough for it I use it as base layer, it will keep you toasty on cold mornings.

I used to wear silk tops and bottoms but now its the compression gear from wal-mart.16.00 a piece and I can't tell the difference. I have the compression gear from Wal mart now just wondered if silk was better and would be warmer. I had a couple pair of silk panties at one time but the were trophy's of a different kind of white tail hunting...

Many years ago when I was a stupid teenager I tried to advise a pretty young lady on the best kind of thermals on a ski trip. She replied "Oh, I'm good. I wear silk panties and they work just fine." I swallowed my tongue and realized I was out of my league. I just walked away. Rookies
