They really like Goldenrod and they also like clustering on the electric fence. I only see them in the fall. [img:center]  [/img]

I think it's some kind of digger wasp, but not certain. I think so too, but not sure what species.

They are all over my 4 wheeler trailer, they must not sting because there are literally 30 of them boil of from under it every time I mow.

Very good wasps they hunt Japanese beetle larva and paralyze them then lay eggs on top.

I find it odd that they would be pollinators as well as predatory insects. I was hoping they were an army worm predator but I'll take a Japanese Beetle predator.
