It's a 2012 I bought used and it's had zero problems except this. I don't see where the temp gauge has a number. I'll have to look for that. And yes, the fan comes on. Don't think it's getting clogged with grass or weeds because I'm riding on a road and I did check that. It's aggravating because I know we have work days coming up and I'm gonna need this machine. Since I have it up here at the house I guess I'll take it back down to the dealer and see what they say. Janet laughed at you IDOTs about "breaking down"  Dr. B

Id change the coolant and be sure the radiator fins are clean. Grass seeds,dirt etc will build up preventing enough air flow to keep it cool.Flush the contaminants out. Check the fan and connections as well as the thermostat that turns the fan on. Im betting it will be something like that.
Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts,hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!

Try putting a new radiator cap on it. Cap may not hold enough pressure.

It's vapor locked. There is a screw you can loosen to bleed the air out. Very common on those 800's
