I know what the NHC says is the center, and the wind map agrees with the NHC, but my eyeballs are telling me the center is more or less over Western Cuba.

The Lowe level center is in the southern gulf now. It isn't vertically stacked which will inhibit it's development whenever it decides to turn north. Personally I think they have the track wrong now and it is gonna hit Panama city to the Apalachicola river. The damn thing is still headed west. Drones found 46mph winds earlier. I expect the nhc will issue ts watches shortly. Hopefully we'll get a nice north breeze to keep the humidity down for a few days

Latest 1800z runs pretty much center around a Panama to App. River landfall. More outliers are farther west. Frustrates the hell out of me that within 3 days of landfall we still don't know. There's lots of things I'd like to get done at the camp this weekend but not if it has been flooding.

If it's gonna hit the US anyway, I hope we get some rain out of it.

I was just in North Georgia and it was as dry as a powderhouse and army worm infestations were everywhere. Y'all up north need it in a bad kind of way.
