Last night at a HS football game. My BinL, my friend, and I were all sitting together. We had 5 boys between us. All of them are sitting close by and behaving.
Well, this little boy ( 1st or 2nd grade) comes over to them and sets down. He immediately starts being rowdy. Picking, poking, and slapping at them. He did this to my friends boys several times and I had enough.
I looked down there and told him " hey, you need to chill out and behave." He said huh? "I said you need to chill out and behave if your going to sit here". He gave me a rude look. I said " don't you look at me like that boy, I ain't puttin up with it."
He said " I don't even know you!" I replied "I don't know you either and I don't care, if you're going to sit here your gonna act right or you can sit with your parents."
He looked like he saw a ghost. Probably the first time an adult had spoken to him like that in a long time. I don't care, I can't stand a misbehaving or smart mouth kid or parents who just let thier kids run wild.

His parents probably won't allow him to be spanked at school either. Spoiled generation trying to parent and failing miserably. Good work

My kids usually step in and do the correcting when they see me give that look to a kid.I guess they see it as less embarrassing to kindly correct their friends than have me crawl up on em like a bad case of poison oak.

I’m with you. I can’t stand that chit either. My two over hyper-active boys feel like they’re gonna put me in my grave some days trying to keep them in line….but by God until they do...they ain’t gonna be one of those rude little basturds that’s running around in public licking windows and eating paint chips off the wall. I guess it’s just easier to not make your kid mind and that’s why some folks don’t put forth the effort.

I guess it’s just easier to not make your kid mind and that’s why some folks don’t put forth the effort. It's just a lazy attitude. It makes it harder on them in the long run. A little discipline early on, prevents a lot of punishment, expense, law enforcement encounters and heartache later on. If only they had a crystal ball.

When my son was much younger he was wild as a buck. We were in Walmart one day and he kept grabbing crap and putting it into the buggy. I explained to him that I didn't have the money to buy that stuff right now.
We the crying bs was one. He cut one dying fit. I warned him once of what was going to happen. He didn't listen. So I yanked his but out of that buggy and busted his arse right there in the isle. About half that time a woman came around the corner and started saying something. Thanks to my temper I never missed a stroke and told her that if she didn't shut her mouth and leave she was next.
He learned a valuable lesson that day. He is about to turn 16 now and he will put his hands in his pockets anytime he goes into a store.
I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

On the very day my mom was buried, I went to the family house with my Stihl 039 and cut down the big willow tree in the yard that had produced so many switches that had brought so much blood.
It wasn't a weeping willow either.
Nobody said a damn word to me.

Very good. My wife gets on to me all the time for doing just that. I ain't gonna put up with it. I got banned from my son's daycare for snatching a kid up one time. The little shucks bit me on the leg and locked down When my daughter was real little, she came home 3 days in a row with teethmarks from another little girl at daycare. All three days, her mother pointed them out to the staff, and by the third day, warned them that "this" was not to happen again! On the 4th day, when she went to pick our daughter up, and discovered teethmarks yet again, she had my daughter to point out the girl that bit her...then walked over and bit the snot out of the little girl herself. She turned around and told the staff, "If her mother has a problem, give her my number!" Never heard anything from her mother, and my daughter never came home with teethmarks again.

My step moms oldest daughter has a 4 year old daughter that is hell. Everytime my dad gets on to her his wife gets on to him. Which i think is wrong we went to eat one night with them and they were keeping then little girl while her parents had date night ir what ever and she was jumping in the booth and going all kinds of wild, i told told her to sit down and she didnt listen his wife is just sitting there ,asking her nicely in a sqieaky voice like shes playing, to sit down and she didnt then she tells her to sit dowm and she sits down. At this point I'm about to blow a gasket, it took 5 mins for her to sit down. We get our food and she starts it all over intold her to sit down very firmly, dads wife looks at me like i just slapped her momma. But the girl girl sit down for a little while then she started it again, my wife told me after we got in the car that i was extremyl red faces and had a vein bulged on my forhead, i just simply looked at dad and told him that he better do something about this because if he isnt im fixing to because I've had all i can handle. His wife looks at me and said her daughter might get mad if i get on to her(4year old). I simply said i dont give a shucks and if she and her husband lets her get away with this shucks then it sounds like I'll have to buy a new belt when i get done whipping everyones ass and if she didnt want lined up with them for letting her get by with this for as long as she has that night in the restaurant then i advise her to get ahold on it because I've have dogs that listen better then she does. She replied with well she's 4 i told her i didnt care if she was 16 if she acted this way she needs diclipine. And this is not a new thing its a very common for her to act like this and to scream and hollar at adults, tell them no, slam doors etc. If me or one of my brothers tried to pull a stunt like this when we were younger we would have been lucky neen lucky to have been warned once i guess dads getting soft in his old age. Me and dad talked about it a couple days later and he was telling me his wife gets mad at him for getting on to the 4 yr old, and her daughter and her husband doesnt like anyone getting on to her. I told him i could give him step by step instructions to fix the problem.
Step one: line all 4 of them up. Step two: explain what the problem is. Step three: find a privet hedge limb. Step 4: start whipping ass. Step 5: check for comprehension of step 2. Step 6: repeat step 4 and step 5 till level of comprehension is desired.

Kids are one thing but obnoxious teens dumped off by their parents are worse. Last night we went to the park playground which has just been redone well here comes two loads of 13-14 year olds parents dump them out about 7-8 of them. My girls are 4-7 and this playground is geared toward <10 year olds. Well two of the teen boys begin swearing and cursing and before I could do anything my wife is on them. She was very clear watch your mouth and behave, leave, or meet the cops choice is yours this is a public park for children and you will conduct your self accordingly.
They straightened up and finally went to the pavilion up the hill. I swear some people need beat for the way they raise their children right along with the children them selves to set things in order. Standing rule around my place was if you got in trouble by someone else when you got home/patents found out you got it twice as bad.
Life is difficult Science prevails over bulldoodoo and superstition every time
