Where is the best place to buy them in the Birmingham/Pelham area. My utility trailer is due some new rubber. Size P175/80/13. Also would it just be easier to buy the wheel and tire assembly, or just get the tires and have them mounted? Thanks.

I bought two for my trailer a couple years ago. I bought them online from Wal-Marks and had them shipped free to the store. I then had them mounted and balanced by my oil change man. I think he charged me $20 to mount them.

if you buy them at walmart or ship to the store from online is free mounting or was back in the a few years ago. Trailer tires do not have to be balanced since you in a sense are not riding back there. Balancing is a comfort thing for us to ride in a vehicle.

I always get mine balanced. I don't want the trailer bouncing and vibrating all the bolts and joints loose in whatever I'm hauling AND transferring that vibration thru the hitch to my tow vehicle.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

tirebuyer.com should be a good hit for you, they do have a warehouse in bham and cullman, many shops have next day shipping, also contact carroll tire up on hwy 11 in trussville.

Yes, you can but for it to be cheaper you dont have to, I have not seen unbalanced tires rattle so hard to mess up something except when they are separating or they are super swampers or the rim is bent or warped.

I have four different trailers for work. Central Camper in Ensley is who does all my work, from tires to repairs. Chris and his dad, Sal, are great people and do good work for a fair price. Chris visits some on here also.

Rockwell trailer parts in irondale behind sams ... or wheel rim and parts in Bham for true "trailer" tires.
For a 13" tire on a light utility trailer I wouldnt buy true ST rated tires myself.

I ordered a mounted spare last week from etrailer.com and it shipped same day. I've ordered from them before and always been satisfied.

If this helps been replacing trailer tires on my boat in OB, been buying 205/75/14st for $77 apiece here in Prattville at a local dealer, bought one on a rim (needed one asap) for $90. We only trailer a few miles each way so no balancing.

If you want to drive to Albertville, I can have you 2 here at the shop, mounted on rims by lunch tomorrow.

Sal has been at it a long time, I've known him almost 30 years. He and Chris are definetly 1st class.
