I got a soft spot for dogs, especially a good dog. I know it's early. But I get real sad when losing a dog and the only thing that helps me get over one quickly is getting another puppy. I've never had a cur dog, but I bet there good dogs.sorry for your loss.

I know exactly how you feel,I lost my little lady,and she was my best friend.She was my rock when I went through a bitter divorce from my first marriage....I loved her,and had a real hard time letting go after she passed....prayers for you and your family!

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Go get u another dog. Different breed, size and color. I've lost several Idays give anything to get back. They're tough to get over but I bet she had a ball during her short time here

Sorry for your loss. I' ve seen several rescues or other abandoned dogs that absolutely became their ownersbest friend. Maybe something about being accepted by "the pack" that really lets them bond.
"Cull" is just another four letter word...

My father n laws daddy left his dog in his truck when they went to go fishing ( he thought the wife took him) he found him when we returned from fishing. And that's one tough Ole man, but he couldn't hide that tear he had to wipe away..

Phil, very sorry for your loss. I know it's tough the way she went out - when I was growing up (probably 10 or 11 years old) we had a wiener dog named Pepper who did the exact same thing. It was in the middle of the summer and Dad was moving the car to cut the grass and Pepper jumped in thinking she was gonna get some windshield time... Dad found her 3-4 hours later and of course she had passed. My dad was one tough man, but losing Pepper just wrecked him. And of course he blamed himself too. He swore that day that he would never own another dog, and he was true to his word. To be honest I don't think he ever got over Pepper. But like we learned that day, sometimes accidents happen and there's no way to explain it or understand it either. Again, very sorry for y'alls loss.

Thanks Yall, I really appreciate it. My wife and I would just be getting back from walking her about now. My wife is very sad about it.
We had her around 7 years..she will be sorely missed. She kept us active as she was an active girl.
Im not the kind to be soft hearted at all..but dang that dog grew on me. It has been a rough day around here..thats for sure.
