I purchased a new to me bow and am deciding on whether to put the sight on my old bow on the new one. So, I have surveyed a few options. I like the single pin slide or dial deal but it makes me nervous in hunting situations at least in my mind having everything ready for a 25 and be presented a 42. I currently shoot a truglo 5 pin sight. I don't love it, there are too many pins on it, but don't hate it either. I have done pendulums in the past, they are ok but I have had horrible luck with them from the ground.

Do you folks have a recommendation on a multi pin unit that is not stupid expensive.

I'd go with a HHA 1 pin slider

i think you will love a single pin sight. i been using one for 6 or 7 years and ive never had an issue in the field. The new HHA king sight is awesome.

if you buy an HHA and dont like id imagine youd could sell it rather easy.

Just get you a Spot Hogg "Real Deal" sight. It come with 5 pins. If you want to remove them down to 3, you can. It's solid as heck and built well. I've had mine for around 12+ years.

Check out several of the new sights (G5 XR2, IQ pro hunter, spot Hogg has a couple) that have multiple pins and a slider...sounds like that is something you might be looking at

I have a KingPin and love it. You most likely can't apprciate the difference till you buy a high end site.

Maybe you could take a couple pins off. That's what I did on mine. I have two pins and that's it. I don't normally shoot over 40 yards.

If you need help getting it setup let us know, its kinda tricky when reading the instructions but its really not that hard to figure out which tape to use.
