Which HHA do you have N2TRKYS?

Which HHA do you have N2TRKYS? I had the Kingpin, but didn't like it at all. I traded it for the Optimizer Ultra 5519. If you're thinking about getting one, give me a call.

Why do y'all worry about the sight housing lining up with the peep? If that's for me as far as centering the housing, I want to see more of the pin while shooting at 100yds. I'm pretty good now, 20 is toward the top of the peep and I had plenty of pin to see at 88 earlier today. With my fixed sight, the housing was centered with the peep and it was like another way of ensuring my anchor was the same, especially at step up and down hill shots up here.

I shoot the Optimizer Lite 5510. I don't know if they make the .10 pin any more.. I don't see it on their website now.
I really like the single pin because of less clutter, being able to dial in to exact yardage when needed, etc.
I don't like having to set up the tapes personally. I was actually talking to Shaw about this over the weekend. I can get a tape to line up perfect from 20-40, 50 is okay, but 60-80 gets pretty far off. I'm assuming its because its a short draw and falling off more than others, but I don't know. I never shoot past 40 in the woods, so just a little OCD i guess. Kinda the same here, I'll drill an elk at 60 for sure but, if he runs off and I can get him to stop again at say 80 with a cow call, I'd like to punch another hole in him if possible.

I always see folks talking about doing that. Seems so foreign to me. I don't look at my housing, I just center the pin that I want to use in the peep. So, you don't center your pins in the peep?

I always center the housing. By doing so, the pin is centered by default on a single pin sight. I center the housing on a multi-pin sight as well.

Hey Shaw, with the adjustable sight, is your housing always centered and you change anchor point or are you keeping the same anchor point and shooting wherever the pin is thru the peep at the different yardages?

My housing is always centered. Out past 50 yards my anchor changes slightly.

I used a Black Gold single pin two years ago. Very nice and well built. I decided to go back to a multipin last year and got a Spott Hog and a Black Gold. Both were very nice but I like the MBG better and sold the Spott Hog.
