I used one for a couple of seasons. Very comfortable and very mobile. I used screw in tree steps that I carried in a rock climbing chalk bag to get up and down trees.
Only thing I didn't like about it was its about impossible to make a shot at about 1 to 3 o'clock (facing towards the tree is 12 oclock) when bow hunting. There were a couple times I had some deer come up from behind me to my right and it would've been impossible to swing around to get a shot on them without getting busted. I've switched to a different method since then.

I guess its like any stand there are times u cant reposition for a shot because of possibly getting busted but I have had deer closer while hunting from the web because your so close to the tree its harder for them to notice you.
I bought a 3 pack (32") & a 4 pack (17") of the Leverage climbing sticks and they work really well to climb and pack very easily. I also got some Cranford rope on steps to use if needed on longer hikes.

I bought a Guido before the season last year and used it exclusively whenever I went up a tree. I REALLY liked it, but you definitely have to hunt with it several times before you know the little things to look out for (where to put your foot rest, watching out for tree bark cracking when you move, etc.). I like it bc it is so mobile and gives the pick of literally any tree that will hold your weight. I think I'll learn a lot more hunting in it this year. I use Lone Wolf sticks for mine, but if I would go back would get Muddy stick bc of the dual steps. I also didn't like the included tether so I made my own using some climbing rope and a ascender that is SOOO much better. If you're interested in more info on that specific set up PM me. It's a huge upgrade to the provided tether.

Always wanted one but ain't figured out the climbing system.
“Killing tomorrow’s trophies today.”
On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”
