I know side bars are a must in competitive 3D shoots. Just curious who all is using one for their hunting set up? What are the pros and cons for using in a hunting set up? Also, what side bar set up are you using?

I've used them on competition set ups. Two reasons right of the top of my head for me not using one on a hunting rig is the added weight and it getting in the way.

A side bar or v-bar will add a pound or more to your bow. If you've carried a tournament rig around a 3d course you know how quick it will wear you down. When I'm hunting I'm not trying to hit quarter size dots at 50 yards, I'm just trying to kill deer. Also I have enough trouble keeping things away from my limbs and cams, I don't need anything else to worry about.
