Vortex Viper HD 20-60-80 Spotting Scope. Bought for trip to Yellowstone and did not take it. For all practical purposes, as new in box condition. Accessories still in wrapper. Everybody is familiar with the Vortex lifetime warranty.
Great scopes; I use a Razor HD also.
Specs here:

http://swfa.com/Vortex-20-60x80-Viper-HD-Spotting-Scope-P48316.aspx

$740, $750 shipped.

Free bump.

Do you notice a huge difference in the razor and the viper? I'm looking to buy a new pair of binos this year. At this point I'm leaning toward the Razor 12x50 binos.

I have not compared them side by side; my Razor HD is the smaller 16-48x65 and is excellent. These folks are delivering some nice product now; and the no questions asked warranty can't be beat. Don't know if I would go 12x on handheld binos though; JMHO.

Get a tripod for binos that big and you're in business...

I believe it would be their normal warranty which I've heard is great.

You see, it doesn't matter how it happened, whose fault it was, or where you purchased it. You can count on the VIP Warranty for all Vortex Optics riflescopes, prism scopes, red dots, rangefinders, binoculars, spotting scopes, tripods, and monoculars.
•Unlimited Lifetime Warranty
•Fully transferable
•No warranty card to fill out
•No receipt needed to hang on to

If you ever have a problem, no matter the cause, we promise to take care of you"
