Toyota buys back tundra. press here

"After 9 years and 1,020,130 miles, Victor Sheppard is reluctantly passing along his ’07 Toyota Tundra to the only buyer who could wrestle the truck from him: Toyota. If Toyota didn’t come calling for the truck, this rather inconspicuous-looking (considering the mileage) pickup would still be on the road."

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.

Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.

Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

That's 111,000 miles a year or 9,200 miles a month

We will burn that bridge when we get there

I wonder what he had invested in the truck in repairs outside of standard maintenance. Those Yotas do last for a long time

Only got 250k on my Landcruiser; just replaced the timing belt for the first time. Have had one $900 non-standard maintenance repair(front CV axle broke).
It may outlive me; better put it in my will.

I have 175000 on a 2006 tundra and it`s still going strong. I wouldn`t hesitate to get in it right now and drive it anywhere.

I have a 03 LX 470 that I found with 72k.

I hope it lasts a long time. I will be putting lots of mile on it.

I don't believe it. The 2007 was pure garbage.

Toyota trucks are made from tornado and hurricane parts. That's why they are tougher than a Waffle House steak.

Mrs. Irish's 2003 GMC Envoy had 250k on it when we sold it to my oldest son for $3,500. The only repairs we ever did to it was replace a A/C valve and one of the plug coils.

He's still delivering pizzas in it. Probably has about 300k on it now.
