Their kennel is about an hour and a half from Bucharest. They do plenty of hunting there, and produce some fine dogs. Note: this dog is 55-60lbs.to give a perspective of how big the "hares" are there. Never been, but it's on my bucket list. Last edited by AFO123; 07/01/16 09:13 AM.

I hunted there in 2009, shot a small roe buck and several does. They also have Sika deer, Fallow deer, Wolves, Martin and Marderhund (raccoon dog). If you know the right people and have the credentials it isn't a big deal to hunt there. The gun thing can be a little touch and go depending on where you are coming from and credentials again. They got real good vodka too

As far as Romania, from talking with some Romanian troops I worked with in AFG, you have to go through a bunch of permitting to get weapons, and it was expensive. Even air guns had to be permitted. They were incredulous that I could have as many guns as I wanted, including AR15's. There were also some Romanian FET troops around, and for the most part, were not that great looking. Nothing like some of the other Eastern European female troops I saw in Kabul.
