I'm the exact same way. I don't even buy the 9 line apparel kind of stuff because I don't feel like I earned it.

I see no problem as long as the person wearing isn't trying to portray themselves as military when they aren't. ^^^ This. x3

Athletes don't go into harm's way to protect our country. Again, I'm not gonna bash anyone who chooses to buy or wear that kind of stuff...I'm just not going to

I see no problem as long as the person wearing isn't trying to portray themselves as military when they aren't. ^^^ This. And then if you are wearing it and a GI said were you in the Special Forces, you could say "no, but I sure support what the hell they do." It won't be a problem, Driveby.

It would be different if it was a uniform but I see no problem with logos and slogans. I do wear the bdu pants around camp that my brother n law sends me. And I have some us army stickers on my jeep, I've had a few ask me if I was in the army. I reply nope my brother n law is and he's and member of the bomb squad and I'm proud of him

This morning I ran across an Under Armour shirt with a very coolngraphic on the back that I wanted REALLY bad but........it had the slogan De Oppresso Liber in big letters across the back. This is the slogan for the Army special forces. Even though I wanted the shirt, I wouldn't buy it because I felt like if I wore it, someone would get the impression I was former Army, which I'm not and I didn't want to come off as a "poser". I'm as patriotic as the next guy and fully support our military but something in my mind didn't feel right about it. Is it just me? Do y'all feel like it's just showing support by wearing something like that or do you feel it's in a way disrespectful? Was thinking the same thing about the respect issue last week while looking at shirts. I ended up just buying a grey Under Armour "support the troops" shirt. God Bless, David B.

You should be proud and they should be proud of him too.
