Had this given to me by a customer of mine today. Anybody got a guess as to what kind it is? I believe it's .22 caliber but there are no markings whatsoever on it.

Mic the hole in the end. Or, stop by and we will see if a .22 pellet will go down the barrel. I have a tin full of them. smile

Looks like a RWS break action.

I believe that is a Chinese made B3-2. A number of years ago they were sold by Cummings Industrial Tools for about $20. Here is a link that might give you more info. http://www.network54.com/Forum/113813. A search there for B3-2 should give you plenty of info. A word to the wise when loading it. Hold on to the cocking lever while inserting the pellet. If something lets loose, you will lose the end of your finger.

I bought one similar to that about 25 years ago. When I realized that it didn't have a safety I threw it in a dumpster

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I think cheap Chineese is right. I have one like it in the back of the closet, and I'm pretty sure I remember china or republic of china being stamped on it somewhere.

I've had one just like it for years. It's a great shooting rifle for what it is. It sounds like a 22 short when it goes off. It's a .177 caliber.

Like someone else said. Hold the lever while loading. It will put a pellet all the way through a squirrel and a little ways into an oak tree.

For best accuracy with it use the "artillery hold" on the rifle. Google it...

A .177 slides all the through the barrel. I'm guessing by that, that it's a .22. Thanks for the info though. I'll look at the "artillery hold".

My dad has one that I believe is just like that. It's hard to tell from the pic. It's a sharp little air rifle. Lot of fun to sit on the back porch with him and shoot ground squirrels.
