The higher, the better. $1000 won't get you much in a new one but you can probably get a higher quality used LIberty, Browning or Fort Knox in that price range. If you buy from an individual and it quits when you get it home, it could cost you more to get it open than its worth. This is just a thought, though. Made it back home to Montgomery and called 5 or 6 buddies to help me move it. Quickly realized that wasn't happening. Ended up paying a lock & safe company a couple hundred dollars to get it in place. Also, don't let them lay it on its back, whatever you do. That was half the battle.

Before you lock all those documents up in the safe, scan them, along with special family pics, etc., and put it all on a flash drive. That can be stored somewhere else safe, off premises, in case your fireproof safe fails you...you'll still have access to numbers, information, pics, etc... Well behaved women never make history.~ Out back Quit laughing...I think I broke something. Fifteen is my limit on Schnitzen-Gruben, Baby... I have OCD and ADD, so everything has to be perfect, but only for a minute.
