Yes compressor is on. When I cut it off the low side rises to about 80 and high drops to around 175. I'll repeat it with the motor above idle. Temp was around 95 when I took the readings.

I'd think it may be overcharged.
I'm no expert, but would write 35 degrees for low side with compressor on is where to shoot for pressure.

here is a rough chart to go by. Ac is complicated getting to know what your system is doing. And your system will have a spec on the ounces of refrigerant it requires. You should know this spec before ever attempting to charge it. If it's overcharged, your lines will try to freeze and you should be able to note this by feeling the lines. When the system was evacuated, was the drier replaced? If not there's your problem. Anytime the system is drained, a leak has appeared or a compressor is failed, the drier MUST be replaced. The drier is to remove minute moisture in the system. Once the system is opened and moisture from the atmosphere is introduced, the drier is ruined. It simply cannot handle that much moisture. Once the drier is ruined, it cannot do its job properly. Once moisture is in the system, it will get into the compressor, likely cause permanent damage. If that's the case, I would evacuate the system, replace the oraface tube, all o rings, the drier, drain all oil from system, replace oil, pull vacuum to boil out any remaining moisture and to check for leaks. Them I would charge system using the correct amount of refrigerant. Then you'll have ice cold air
