Flat black spray paint. Cost you about $5. Or cheaper gray primer....
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

to be honest never worried about the shine. I'm sure its dulled some over time. Same here. Have had SS guns for years and never worried about it. The camo gauze or tape is easy to apply and comes off easy and doesnt harm finishes. 1 roll will do a couple of long guns. Id dang sure buy some of it and take it off end of season before Id sell off a SS gun for a blued.
Ethical behavior is doing the right thing when no one else is watching - even when doing the wrong thing is legal. Aldo Leopold .. (except when it comes to trailer tags)

I've owned a savage weather warrior for over 20 years, and to be honest never worried about the shine. I'm sure its dulled some over time. We had a group of out of state hunters with us one time and one of them had the finest of everything he could spend money on including a SS rifle. He was sitting in a tripod and when I went to pick him up as soon as I got to where the area he was watching was visible, I saw him stick out like a sore thumb on the other end of the field. That is when I decided SS was not for me. At least if it isn't dulled. I would use tape so it could be easily removed if needed.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Went to pick a buddy up and wasn't sure which tree he had climbed. His old Remington 270 gloss barrel have him away because the sun was GLEAMING on it. Any barrel with a gloss or polished finish will do the same. I promise you won't spot any of my stainless barrels in identical situation.
