In-laws just traded on a tract of land that joins property they already owned. New tract has a small pond on it, about 1.4 acres on Google Earth.

Took my daughter and a box of crickets over there today. First cast yielded a nice dark bull bream. Caught several nice keepers a few small bream plus two small bass about 3/4 - 1 lb. Saw a bunch of small bass swimming around the edges.

Theres only a couple of spots along the dam that are clear enough to fish. Obviously cleaning up the banks are a project that will be near the top of the list. There's some grass on the bottom and some algae but not bad. Think I need to add some grass carp.

obviously I want to get out there early in the morning by boat and see what the bass are like.

Any suggestions on small pond management resources ?

I am a CSPFM(Certified Small Pond Fish Manager)and can be in your area within an hour to assist as needed. I have a pretty good assistant as well, but coordinating her availability with your softball schedule could be difficult.

Holler if you need any help weed eating, but try to remove all cottonmouths in advance laugh
