Rolling the water bottle and wearing more comfortable shoes helped. I wear crocs when I'm not at work and they seem to help a lot.

stretches had a bout of this a while back and these stretches had me fixed up in a short time. the one where you grab your toes and pull toward you seemed the most beneficial to me. also used a medication I got from GNC called Arnica 30x. they seemed to lessen to pain on my worst days. I too as many others on her have had bouts of this. What worked for me even though it took about 6 months to get over it were the stretching exercises along with wearing a good shoe with good arch support. For the first few months, I also had to use a Dr Scholls insert in my shoes. Once your foot/feet is really sore, hot epsom salt water soaking helped my soreness

I rolled a frozen 2 liter bottle under my foot for awhile last night before going to bed and it seems to have really helped. Its feeling better this morning than it's felt in the last couple weeks. I think the inflammation was getting bad and causing my pain. You could feel heat at the base of my heel.

I don't have PF but I do have arthritis in my left foot in my two middle toes. It so bad that the toes are V shape with an area fist size on the bottom of my foot that stays swollen. I take naproxen for the inflammation with an occasional steroid shot from my doctor.
As far as shoes go he told me don't wear any shoe you can twist easily. Especially crocs or flip flops which I wear all the time. Also the inserts are a big help as well. Foot pain sucks especially when you work standing or walking the majority of the day.

I had it terrible bad in both feet about 10 years ago. At the time I was coaching a kids ball team and one of the mothers saw me walking and asked how long I had PF. I was surprised that she asked to begin with but she made the comment I can help you with that. She worked for a foot dr. She asked me to bring her some pre-tape and athletic tape from the dugout. I did and she proceeded to wrap both my ankles very much like you had your ankles taped before a football or basketball game. By the end of the game, I had no pain at all. She told me to continue wearing it especially when I went to bed. The mornings were the worst, almost having to crawl to the bathroom, but that first morning, not a problem. I continued to wrap my ankles myself for almost 2 months and then the problem just vanished.

Strasbourg Sock works! But I rigged my own with a belt and bungi strap to hold the foot back at nite when I was in the recliner. Have had it twice, takes about a month. Cortisone shot recommended.

Do any of you guys have problems with this? What did you do that helped? I’m trying to wear house shoes instead of going barefoot in the house. I’m also wearing a little sleeve that fits around the middle of my foot with small gel pad on the bottom that’s positioned right in the arch of my foot. It seems to help but it’s kind of uncomfortable and causing my feet to hurt where the pad is sitting instead of from the tendon pain.
All I know is……this chit sucks. It’s been bothering me for the last couple weeks and is only getting worse. I’ve been taking Ibuprofen and trying to stay off of my feet as much for the last couple days in hopes that it gets better. Got to figure out how to manage this issue or I’m afraid it’ll be a long term problem. Yes had it bad once. Podiatrist Put me in a cam walker for 3-4 weeks & physical therapy & some anti inflammatory. Eventually got rid of it. Lots of icing down. I was lucky it hasn't come back. CNC you should probably go see a good podiatrist and get it treated now so u can be in woods healed up in fall.

I have or had it Thank God. Went to the doc and after three different visits and three bad ass shots into the arch of my foot I can report that I have not had a problem with it in years and i am almost 54. So man up and get the shots!!!!but my poor doc was scared as hellllp that I was gonna mule kick him through the wall with my other foot. You will get relief after the first shot and follow doc's instructions on stretching. My hard headed arse decided I was good to go and ended up having to do the shots again twice.
I love all of Gods creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes and gravy.
