Not trying to brag, just sharing a real positive thing in my life ... my best friend Charlie. This is what he does when I get home from work ... He is non-stop, full throttle, full of energy and he's built like an Olympic athlete. He has been incredibly easy to train. I'm not sure if it's his breed or his champion bloodline but I am really surprised at how easy it has been, how he figures things out fast and he is so willing to please me. I work him before I go to work in the morning and I work him when I come home at night. During the week it usually consists of retrieving the bumpers, catching frisbees, patience work (retrieve on command) or tracking deer blood across the yard. On the weekends its usually a good hike on the Land Trust trails or water retrieving at the Refuge. We put a Batman sheet over the bed at night when we're watching TV and he piles up between us. He loves his Mama like no other too, loves to snuggle up against her on the bed. I've wanted a dog like this all my life and I consider myself blessed to have him.
I don't want to pass quietly into the night. I want to slide in sideways kickin and screamin Life really is awesome ... Soak it up while you can ...

Used to be a lifeguard, until that blue kid got me fired.

Oh, I thought it was a Brit.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

Fine looking pup! Reminds me of my son's Springer with that blaze face and freckles. They'd pass for brothers just on face pics.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I have thought several times about getting a Brittany or a Boykin pup for a house dog, but the long hair seems like it could be a problem. That's a beautiful pup!! TC, I have two inside Boykins and hair is not an issue. Our son can bring his lab home for a couple of days and we are sweeping up hair for a week.

We deal with a little bit of hair rolling across the hardwoods but nothing vacuuming once a week won't take care of

He sure is a pretty thing. He sounds like hes just like my younger Brittany. I wake up in the morning and hes got his dummy waiting on me. I cant even take a dump without him dropping that dang thing @ my feet. Wouldn't trade him or my older one for the world, there's a reason they are called "mans best friend"
