One year it took a long time to get mine back but usually it seems to take around 6 weeks. Have you checked https://myalabamataxes.alabama.gov/_/ ?

All I know is it took about 4 days for my payment to be deposited by the state.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. Efiled with direct deposit and got my fed in less than a week and state in under 2 weeks this year. Past years state has taken up to 2 months before it showed.
