Rare opportunity to join Twin Rivers Hunting Club due to increasing leased acreage. Only 21 maximum # of members at full acreage strength. Large 6 bedroom 2 bath camp house, with city water, power and satellite TV with huge den for all to view football games. Great deer, duck, turkey and hog hunting plus abundant small game and fishing, with walk in cooler. Club has been in existence since 1991 with same management team. Older, mature bucks only, yet reasonable harvest #s allowed for members, guest, and sons. Strict, but fair and limited guest policy. Majority of members from Tuscaloosa, Northport area and others from greater Birmingham. Property is very private and remote, yet only about 25 minutes NW from I-59 at Eutaw /Aliceville exit #40. Paved County Road 115 goes to front door of the camp house immediately adjacent to property. Over 40 good size green fields, with a road system maintained so well 4-wheelers not always needed. Bottom land hardwoods, various cut-over stages and huntable pine forest. Sign out board has about 50 plus "marked sections" each averaging about 125 plus acres, which is yours for that specific hunt. This is a special place. Dues are $4,500 a year, plus some seed cost prorata. Expensive, yes, however, if your budget allows, it is worth it, especially when the cost of a camper is not needed! I joined last week after only a brief tour. With close observation, it is not hard to tell when a club is managed and run properly from all aspects. This is one of those places, in my opinion. A few spots are available now. You may contact Richard Hicks, Northport taxidermist and original founder, at 205-349-3015 or club president Jason Greene, 205-344-6533 or jasong@alabamasteelcomponents.com. Maps, brochure and club rules available to serious inquiries only. Thanks. I am Rick Sexton of Birmingham.

I am told primarily wood ducks, about 4-5 planned hunts spread out over the season. Several good locations with 2 rivers/backwaters joining together on two sides of property. Also some big ducks and geese. Check with founding member, Richard Hicks. He can give you better info with good history on that subject. I too am interested in duck hunting there.

This is a great club. My best friend works at Richard Hicks' taxidermy shop and I've gone down there for a few hunts. If I was a little more established in my business, I would definitely join. Everything about this place is high quality

I am familiar with Twin Rivers, but it was a long time ago. I'm looking for a place to have as a backup place to hunt. I have my own farm in Sumter county but it's just 500 acres. Plus it's not as close as Twin Rivers. I have a question and this may be the place I have been to years ago or not, but is there much hardwood timber left on the property that hasn't been all cut and put into pine plantation. I like to bowhunt and sometimes turkey hunt. I just don't have the time to hunt like I did before marriage and kids. Please contact me if you can, Bill Miller cell 205-242-5920. Thank you very much

You may call Richard Hicks, a founding member, now, at 205-394-2988. That is his cell at Hick's Taxidermy in Tuscaloosa.
