Does anybody have some plans or ideas for making a long sprayer boom to go off back of an ATV? I have one of those 15gallon sprayers with a 1.0 gpm 40psi.

Is it Hunting Season Yet?

I use a boomless sprayer. You get the nozzle from Northern Tool. It's only 1 nozzle that sprays a fan about 10 ft wide. No boom poles to brake!

I built one and by the time it was done I could have just bought one. Tractor supply sells the nozzle parts and the brackets. Those nozzles arent cheap though.

Mines from Northern but it is only two nozzles that spray a fan on each side, each is 90 degrees fan. I've been happy with it.

x3 for the boomless nozzle.
I have one that I use with my 15 gal. sprayer in the back of my golf cart. I can spray an acre per tankful. The nozzle sprays an even 20' fan behind the cart.

Anyone gotta link?

I must have had a bad one then. The boomless spray nozzle I got from northern tool was useless. It may have worked fine on even ground cut fairly short, but on my bumpy knee high field it was completely ineffective. AND it cracked open at the threads first time I used it.

Nozzles are pressure rated. The boom I built had 7 nozzles and spray coverage was about 18'. My pump was 3.4gpm@60psi and the nozzles were 60psi rated I believe. You need to research that aspect before buying parts that won't work as you intend them to.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Two guys at our club made sprayers out of pop up lawn sprinkler heads with square metal tubing, hose and hose clamps. Works great on green fields and real cheap. When they turn their pumps on the head pops up and sprays a nice fan. The have already sprayed all of the fields once.
